Our Prices Include…

Our offers describe each individual travel day, including the overnight stay and the service provided on site. These services at the accommodations are paid in advance by us upon receipt of the travel price. For national park accommodations, meals on site are to be paid by each travel guest individually. Also in hotels in the cities of Windhoek, Keetmanshoop, Lüderitz or Swakopmund, meals are taken in a restaurant of your choice and paid for by the travel guest directly on site.

Price comparisons with other offered tours are welcome. You will see that we have included possible activities on site at the accommodations in the prices of our tours. In addition, every travel participant is insured in the event of an accident or illness requiring immediate transport to a nearby hospital. Additional health/travel insurance must be taken out by each travel guest individually with a private travel insurance provider, for example ERGO.

All accommodations in our offered tours can be exchanged before the booking is placed; sometimes this even becomes necessary due to availability issues. The price will always be adjusted accordingly.

On our guided tours, you will receive detailed information about history, current politics, fauna and flora, as well as further developments in the country. You can enjoy your holiday in a relaxed way. We take care of everything around it.

Included in a guided tour are:

• The tips, which the tour guide pays per person and per accommodation into the communal tip box at the reception of the accommodation; NAD 50 per travel participant per night. Tips are distributed among all staff.
• Entrance fees for the sights listed in the itinerary; optional activities are not included.
• Water in the tour vehicle, which is available to all travel participants during the drives.
• Your personal small water bottle.

Our Pricelist

For Self-Drivers: The price of a self-drive tour is stated as a complete package; an inclusive price consisting of vehicle, basic rental rate, and accommodations:

• Prepare yourself for driving on the left and apply for an international driving licence. Please scan a copy and send it by email to info@join-us-in-namibia.com.
• Basic rental rate for the air-conditioned vehicle, suitable for the tour with or without camping equipment/roof tent.
• We discuss insurance options in advance, with or without excess for the deposit that must be paid for the vehicle; PDF available on request.
• A clear overview of the accommodations with the services provided on site will be handed over on our TRAVEL CARD with the attached vouchers.
• Electric 12V fridge in the vehicle, which each travel guest can stock themselves.
• Your personal small water bottle.

In today’s Namibia, depending on the number of travel participants, we recommend travelling only with a well-sprung, higher-clearance double-cab vehicle/Fortuner or VW Kombi, or similar. Most gravel roads are nowadays in a generally poor condition, and the joy of travelling is simply lost if you have to crawl along tracks in a small sedan, because otherwise the car threatens to fall apart or the underbody may suffer damage. The VW bus is also best used only on tarred roads, but with good tyres it is also equipped for limited sandy tracks.usgerüstet.
